ZERONESS OF THITHI (THITHI SUNYAM): The word "Thithi" represents the counting of days between Amavasya to Poornima; and Poornima to Amavasya. There are exactly 14 Thithis that lies between Amavasya to Poornima, which are called Sukla Paksha Thithi (Days with Ascending Moon).
