HOW DOES THE RAHU MAHADASA WORKS? (PART 3)

EFFECTS OF RAHU MAHADASA:

We all know that the results of the Rahu Mahadasa very well depends on the nature of the house lord (benefice or malefic) and the loaction of the house lord. The House Lord mentioned here is the graha that owns the zodiac sign, where the Rahu is placed.

Hence the results of Rahu Mahadasa with respect to the nature of the house lord and its position are given below.

Note: The strength and weakness of the House Lord is the deciding factor on the possible effects of the Rahu Mahadasa.

EFFECTS OF HAVING RAHU IN THE SECOND HOUSE

WHAT DOES RAHU DO IN THE 2nd HOUSE?

1. The Rahu in the 2nd house makes the person to lie without any hassles. That is, the words would flow out of their mouth mixed up with lies and delivering it in a diplomatic manner.

2. The person would find it difficult to make their speeches brief and make it to the point.

3. Sometimes the person with Rahu in the 2nd house would forget and would be lost in their middle of their conversations. That is, they would even wonder about "where they have started?"

4. The Rahu in the 2nd house would make the person go independent. That is, they would not be part of the "Joint family system".

5. The Person with Rahu in the 2nd house would suffer by making wrong commitments.

Note: This position is also applicable to the below mentioned graha position.

1. If the Rahu is placed in the 4th, 8th and 12th house.

2. If the Rahu is positioned with 2nd house lord and getting placed in any zodiac signs.

3. If the 2nd house lord is placed in the Thiruvathira, Swathi and Sathayam Nakshatra.

HOW DOES THE RAHU MAHADASA WORKS? (PART -2)

RESULTS OF RAHU MAHADASA:

1. Rahu does not own any houses; hence it reflects the qualities of the house lord, where it is located.

2. By the above analogy, the Rahu reflects the bad qualities during its Mahadasa period, when it is placed in the malefic houses; would reflect good qualities if it is placed in any benefice houses.

3. Rahu becomes powerful, when it is placed in the Mesha, Rishaba, Kataka, Kanni and Makara rasi houses.

4. Contrary to the popular belief, that Rahu would deliver "Raja Yoga" during its Rahu Mahadasa period, if the Rahu is placed in the 3rd and 6th houses, the Rahu Mahadasa period is likely to cause huge damages through its Mahadasa, if it is placed in the malefic 3rd and 6th houses.

5. Rahu will give all gains and materialistic profits during its early part of its Mahadasa period.

6. Then the same Rahu will wipe out all the benefits (that had been given by the Rahu) during its last phase of the Rahu Mahadasa period.

7. In general, the Rahu would wipe out all its benefits by itself (if the person lived through illegal or immoral ways) during the last phase of Rahu Mahadasa.

8. The Rahu Mahadasa works very well and delivers wonderful results only if the Rahu is placed in Mesha, Rishaba, Kataka, Kanni and Makara Rasi signs; also the  Rahu's place has to be a benefice house from the lagna; the house lord must own benefice houses and placed in a benfice place.

9. Both the Rahu and its house lord should be stronger and should not be affected by any doshams.

If all the criteria is met, then the Rahu would deliver wonderful results during its Rahu Mahadasa periods.

HOW TO CALCULATE RAHU KALAM CORRECTLY?

WHAT IS AGASU? HOW IT IS RELATED TO RAHU KALAM?

We look for the details of Rahu Kalam in the daily calendar. The Rahu Kalam spreads to 1 1/2 hours (in general) from Sunday to Saturday. Whether the time given in the calendar is correct?

No, the Rahu Kalam differs from place to place and also there exists huge difference between Summer and Winter months. The details given the daily calendar is not accurate. Let us see the methods to calculate the Rahu Kalam in an accurate manner. We choose the sample day as 15.09.2013.

Sample Date: 15.09.2013 - Sunday - Rahu Kalam (as per calendar) - 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm - Place: Chennai.

1. Find out the Agasu Naligai in the Thirukkanitha Panchangam.

2. For the Sample Date 15.09.2013, the Agasu Naligai is given as 30 Naligai and 13 Vinadi.

3. Firts convert the 30 Naligai into Vinadi.

4. Multiply 30 Naligai x 60 = 1800 Vinadi.

5. Add 13 vinadi to 1800 Vinadi @ 1800 + 13 = 1813 Vinadi.

6. We need to divide the Vinadi by 8 (Since the Rahu Kalam has a timeframe of 1 1/2 hours on everyday; 1 1/2 x 8 = 12 hours makes the Day time).

7. Divide 1813 by 8 @ 1813/8 = 226 5/8

8. Must convert 226 5/8 vinadi into minutes and seconds. We know that 2 1/2 Vinadi = 1 minute.

9. Let us convert the 226 5/8 Vinadi into Minutes.
  1813/8 x 2/5 = 90 13/20.

10. That is, the converted Agasu timings are 90 minutes and 13/20 seconds.

11. Now convert the 13/20 seconds.
      13/20 x 60 = 39 seconds.

12. Hence the Agasu timings are 90 minutes and 39 seconds.

13. That is the Agasu timings are 1 hour, 30 minutes and 39 seconds. (That is, the duration of Rahu Kalam is 1 hour 30 minutes and 39 seconds and not the usual 1 hour and 30 minutes.

14. Let us divide the 12 hours into 1 1/2 hour durations.

15. Our selected Sample day 15.09.2013 comes as Sunday. The Rahu Kalam comes at 04.30 hours to 06.00 hours (in the evening) on Sundays. Here the 04.30 to 06.00 lies at the 8th row.

16. Hence we need to multiply 1 hour 30 minutes and 39 seconds by 8.
      1 hour       30 minutes     39 seconds  x  8
      8 hours    240 minutes   312 seconds.

17. Convert 312 seconds = 5 minutes and 12 seconds.
      Add 240 minutes + 5 minutes = 245 minutes
      Convert 245 minutes = 4 hours and 5 minutes
      Add 8 hours + 4 hours = 12 hours.

18. That is, the Rahu Kalam has extended up to 12 hours, 5 minutes and 12 seconds from the Sunrise of the day (15.09.2013)

19. We know that the duration of the Rahu Kalam @ 1 hour 30 miutes and 39 seconds.

20. Subtract the duration of the Rahu Kalam from the end time of the Rahu Kalam to find out the start time of Rahu Kalam.

21. Subtract   Hours     Minutes    Seconds
                       12            05            12
                         1            30            39
                      ---------------------------------
                       10            34            33
                      ---------------------------------

22. That is, the Rahu Kalam has started at 10 hours 34 minutes and 33 seconds and ended after 12 hours 05 minutes and 12 seconds from the Sunrise of the day.

23. The Sunrise of the day is 06.01 am on 15th September 2013.

24. Add 06.01.00 + 10.34.33 = 16.35.33 = 04.35.33 PM
      Add 06.01.00 + 12.05.12 = 18.06.12 = 06.06.24 PM.

25. Hence, the Rahu kalam for the Sunday 15th September 2013 starts at 04.35.33 PM and ends at 06.06.24 PM.

26. This time differences increases drastically during the peak summer and peak winter periods. Because the Sunrise during the Peak Summer season (May - June) is around 05.45 AM; and the Sunrise during the Peak Winter season (December - January) is around 06.40 AM.

27. In that scenario, the Rahu Kalam (on Sundays) start as early as 04.15 PM and ends at 05.40 PM during summer days (approx).

28. The Rahu kalam (on Sundays) starts as late as 05.15 PM and ends at 06.25 PM during winter days (approx).

29. Hence readers must understand that the Rahu Kalam is not fixed. Going by the daily calendar would proves to be very costly.

RAHU IN 6th AND KETHU IN 12th HOUSE

WILL RAHU IN THE 6TH HOUSE AND KETHU IN THE 12TH HOUSE DELIVERS GOOD RESULTS?

Every astrological books tells you that Rahu and Kethu is good by having it placed in the 6th or 12th house. But in reality it leads to opposite.

Rahu and Kethu do not own any zodiac houses. Hence it will mirror the qualities of its house lord only. Hence the Rahu and Kethu would mirror the qualities of the 6th and 12th house lords only. Depending upon the position and strength of the 6th and 12th house lords, the Rahu Mahadasa would deliver its results during the Rahu/Kethu Mahadasa.

Also the result varies among different Lagna. In general, 6th and 12th house lords qualities in the Rahu Mahadasa brings sickness, debts, critical issues, litigations, trouble from opponents, lack of basic comforts and also huge expenses. Hence in most of the cases, the Rahu Mahadasa or Kethu Mahadasa in the 6th and 12 houses bring innumerous troubles on the above mentioned issues.

TRUTH ABOUT RAHU AND KETHU (PART 3)

SARPA DOSHA (DOSHA CREATED BY RAHU/KETHU):

The placement of Rahu and Kethu in certain position indicates the existence of "Sarpa Dosha". Let us see, the planetary positions in the horoscope that brings this "Sarpa Dosha" and its possible effects.

1. Rahu in the Lagna and Kethu in the 7th house - Natives turning into some form of addiction, lies and hurdles to the marital life.

2. Rahu in the 2nd house and Kethu in the 8th house - Lies, going independent (separate), maintaining affair with outside their own community and trouble/weakness in the Private Parts of the body.

3. Rahu in the 5th house and Kethu in the 11th house - PITHRU DOSHA, trouble in conceiving and problem with elder brother/sisters.

4. Kethu in Lagna and Rahu in the 7th house - Passive characteristics and active involvement in materialistic life.

5. Kethu in 2nd house and Rahu in the 8th house - Developing ties with other communities (caste/religion/country); mumbling and incoherent; suspicious private life.

6. Kethu in 5th house and Rahu in the 11th house - PITHRU DOSHA, difficulty in conceiving.

Hence, the readers must understand that the "Sarpa Dosha" is not pointing towards the Poision or Snake bites or Trouble in Marriage only. Depending upon the individual's natal horoscope, it could create various problems.

The major point is that, the house lord where the Rahu or Kethu is placed should be in a good position. If the house lord is affected badly, then only the above mentioned effects would happen, that too only at the time of passing through Rahu or Kethu Mahadasa. If not, the readers can ignore this "Sarpa Dosha"

TRUTH ABOUT RAHU AND KETHU (PART - 2)

DOSHAM BROUGHT BY RAHU AND KETHU:

The Kala Sarpa Dosham and Sarpa Dosham are the main dosham that has been brought out by the Rahu and Kethu. Let us analyze the Kala Sarpa Dosham here.

Kala Sarpa Dosham: We have earlied studied about the reason and effects of the "Kala Sarpa Dosham" in detail. I wanted to share more details about the functioning of "Kala Sarpa Dosham" with our readers.

1. If the Rahu is placed in the benefice place, then the Rahu Mahadasa would deliver good results, especially when the native age is less than 33 Years.

2. The Kala Sarpa Yoga would deliver fluctuating results; will not trouble the natives completely.

3. The Kala Sarpa Yoga would only create discard in the marital relationships; but the separation or divorce happens only when there is malefic graha position in the natal chart.

4. If the Marriage is conducted in the late twenties, the Kala Sarpa Yoga would never create troubles in the marital ties.

Hence, the readers are advised against taking dim view of the existence of "Kala Sarpa Dosham" in a completely negative manner. I had seen number of peoples getting married (in the early twenties itself) successfully despite having "Kala Sarpa Dosham" present in their horoscopes.

WHAT WILL RAHU AND KETHU DO?

In India, many theories are floated around the mystery of Rahu (and also Kethu). Let us understand the correct perspective on the functioning of the Rahu. Both Rahu and Kethu are called as "Saya Grahas" (Image Grahas). That is, Rahu and Kethu does not own any Zodiac houses.

Rahu and Kethu goes around in a anti-clock wise direction and both maintains 180 degrees between them @ both are always placed in a diametrically opposite position. Rahu and Kethu often reflects the characteristics of the graha, who happens to be the House Lord of the zodiac sign, where Rahu and Kethu are placed.

Even today in countries like Burma and other East Asian countries, the Astrology is used without the existence of Rahu and Kethu. In the ancient times, even in India, the Rahu and Kethu found no mention in the older manuscripts. NEECHA CHANDRA FOR THULA LAGNA

MAHADASA RESULTS OF DEBILITATED MOON FOR THE LIBRA RISING:

The Moon is the 10th house lord for the Thula lagna (Libra Rising). The 10th house is a neutral place and it denotes the Career. The Moon treats the Venus (Lord of Thula - Libra sign) as its equal, but the Venus treats the Moon as its enemy. Hence there is unequal ties on the relationship between the Moon and the Venus.

The Moon gets debilitated in the Viruchika Rasi and it is 2nd house from the Thula lagna. The 2nd house is malefic too. The 10th house lord getting debilitated in the 2nd house is not good; but If the Moon gets any "Neecha Banga Raja Yoga", then the strength of the Moon increases dramatically and changes the entire situation.

Now let us see the possible effects of Neecha Moon in the 2nd house for the Thula lagna (Libra Rising):

1. The Person may find it hard to find a peramanent source of income.

2. The person could be forced to switch change of Profession itself.

3. The Person could be forced to have changes in responsibilities, departments , locations or even change of organizations many times during their lifetime.

4. The disturbance in the Career side could spill over to the relationship in the family.

5. The financial position coming under the pressure due to the instability on the career side.

6. The person often finding it difficult to meet their own coommitments.

7. The situation is likely to worsen, if the person is born during the Amavasya or the descending Moon periods.

Note:

The results are likely to change, if the Chandra (Moon) gets Combustion by Sun, Thithi Sunyam, neecha banga yoga and also many other astrological factors. For more on Simha Lagna, please visit www.zodiachouse7.blogspot.com
